MY STORY
Hey, I’m Tal - a 34-year-old wedding photographer based in Geelong, originally from Warrnambool. I began my career in mental health, where I learned the importance of connection, compassion, and truly listening, values that still shape how I approach every wedding today.
I first picked up a camera to capture mates surfing and the raw beauty of the ocean. That creative outlet soon became a passion, and I’ve been chasing honest, emotive moments in the ocean ever since which you can see here: tallemmensphoto.com
These days, I bring that same energy to weddings, documenting the real, unrepeatable moments: a tearful parent, a quiet hand squeeze, a cheeky glance, or the chaos of the dance floor. No awkward poses, just honest images that feel like you.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m surfing or bodyboarding, bombing down hills on my mountain bike, playing guitar, or sharing beers with mates. If you're after a relaxed, creative wedding photographer who genuinely cares, I’d love to be part of your day.
ETHICS
Choosing the right wedding photographer matters. You want someone you trust, someone who’ll capture the raw emotion, quiet moments, and genuine connection between you and your partner. That’s exactly what I aim to do, creating a relaxed, seamless experience from our first chat to the final delivery of your photos.
With a documentary style and editorial eye, I focus on the real moments: subtle glances, soft touches, and natural interactions that tell the true story of your day. No awkward poses or forced smiles; just you two, being yourselves.
Most couples I work with say it felt like hanging out with a mate; easy, fun, and effortlessly authentic.
If you’re after a wedding photographer who values creativity, connection, and real moments — I’d love to be part of your story.
